Jim Cantwell is a licensed architect in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama, bringing nearly four decades of experience to his role as Partner at AB Design Group. Since joining the firm in 2002, he has dedicated his career to residential design, with a particular passion for creating homes that blend functionality, aesthetics, and a sense of place.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (B.Arch, 1982) and licensed in Florida since 1987, Jim has served as architect for more than 100,000 homes across Florida. His designs have earned numerous local and regional awards, reflecting his commitment to quality and innovation.

Outside of architecture, he is a husband, father of three, grandfather of two, and an avid traveler who has visited all 50 U.S. states, gaining fresh perspectives and inspiration along the way, and enjoys discovering new places.
